Greeting, Well, in a nutshell, is that the TT3x is cleaner because the tolerances in electronic components are much more consistent today than back in the '70's. It has an independent switch option to drive the filter via the pre input level, or your own setting via the Pre control. The Tru 3x will give you all of the classic Tron III sounds of the original but it's a cleaner, more consistent & versatile pedal. There's more, but in the interest of nutshell, there it is. There's also some backdoor tweaks available that Mike put in for Pro players that like to do signature tweaks. Mike's no longer with the company. or the revamped "MuTron" brand ; so be advised on that. Beigel Sound was MIke's company but he has sold out & retired. Thank you for stopping by..

@smootyzik9863 Also I forgot to mention, Did you mean the Musitronincs Mutron III (original) , there's no Mutron 3x.... if you meant the new version it's a new owner, that went to a small pedal footprint & other design changes. Beigel Sound was Mike 100% who has now retired. Thanks.

@@1RaulDuarte yes there are 2 pedals which look alike from BEIGEL SOUND LAB but which do not have the same name (MU-TRON 3X and TRU-TRON 3X and it is this difference that I would like to know (if you have it also know...) 😅 I send you the links to better see the difference
